Hon. Mayor Mudge Samuel has instructed me to go ahead with the idea of offering services of renewing or acquiring Passports, Birth Certificates, Marshallese Social Security Card, School Transcripts and any problems that MALGOV can help you with while you are away from Majuro.
After living in California for 16 years, I know most of the problems that you face daily due to not having the right or updated documents and nobody here on Majuro to help you acquire these documents. Majuro Atoll Local Government is now offering its services of acquiring these documents for you, FREE OF SERVICE CHARGE.
Attached is an authorization form for you to sign and send/fax if you need help.
To process Passports I will need you to fill out the Passport Application Form and send 2 Passport Photos with it. You will need to get a Postal Money Order or Cashier Check made out to the ‘RMI MINISTRY OF FINANCE’ for the exact amount. Mailing of the passport will be provided by MALGOV.
School transcripts, Social Security Cards and Birth Certificates are fairly cheap, so MALGOV will provide the fee for these plus the shipping charge. Email or mail me your information: Full Name, Date of Birth, Parents Names, and Place of Birth. If you know your SS#, it would be easier to get the card.
