Ebeye: crowded, very little vegetation, hot; that's what I was told. Planned to stop over for a visit on my way to Ponape. Got my 5-Star clearance and took Air Mic to Kwajalein (Military Base). At the snack bar, I enjoyed by first cheeseburger in six months; then, we took the ferry over to Ebeye. Thousands live in a few square miles. As the sun set, the beauty of the islands was displayed. But more than tropical finery, are Ebeye's jewels - her strong, beautiful people! << | >>
