Children want to be our constant companions. Boys roam the village from morning to late at night. Girls are usually busy at home with chores. There is no such thing as regular meal and bed times. Fifty percent of the population is children under 16. The village elementary school has problems with student and teacher attendance. Only twenty percent of Marshallese gain entrance into the few island high schools. << | >>
