I spent a few quiet minutes before breakfst enjoying my room's "paradise view." Our house is right next to the lagoon. Turquoise water laps up on the white sand nearby. Everything on the lagoon side is "iar" while on the oceanside it is called, "lik." In the distance, you can see some of the atoll's smaller islets. You can "walk the reef" there at low tide!
