- January 18, 1974 -
The sun had set by the time we arrived in Laura, but the day's activities were not over. Around 10:00 pm, I was
escorted to CBI
campus. The student body was waiting for me in the outdoor dining hall. They serenaded me with lively
Marshallese songs. The songleader, Ritten Peter, was a great emcee, and made me feel right at home. I think I am going
to like it here! << | >>
