Chapter 1: page 3
- January 18, 1974 -

A beautiful Marshallese lady welcomed me with sweet-smelling leis. Immigration questions why I had no passport nor entry permit (they were still coming in the mail!). Went into town for lunch at Kitco's. It was cool, and the chop suey was delicious. Stores are another story; supplies limited due to a dock strike in Guam. A fantastic sunset lit the sky as we passed the airport and headed "home."
