- January 18, 1974 -
I have arrived...after two five-hour flights and a layover in Honolulu. Water, water, blue
horizon, and clouds that overtake the sky! The words of the Psalmist came to me: "Even if
I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the earth, You are
with me." Continental landed in the heat of the day. The "new" airport consists of an narrow runway
and a small shed. I deboard as heat & humidity assail me. << | >>
